David Wishart presented Whisky Classified at the 17th Edinburgh International Book Festival on 21st August 2006
Charlotte Square Gardens, Edinburgh

David's talk drew an enthusiastic audience of 130, and concluded with a book signing and tasting of single malt whiskies. The tasting was sponsored by Highland Distillers and Jon, Mark and Robbo's Easy Drinking Whisky Company. The malts were The Famous Grouse Blended Malt, Highland Park, Macallan, Glenrothes, Glenturret, and Tamdhu from Highland Distillers; and the Smooth Sweeter One, the Rich Spicy One, and the Smokey Peaty One from JMR. Andy Forrester from JMR and Doreen Wishart were on hand to guide the tutored tasting while David signed copies of his book. We reproduce some images from the event below.
