Whisky Classified at the Dutch International Whisky Festival, November 2005

We are delighted to have been invited to present Single Malt Whisky: Kiezen op Smaak at the Dutch International Whisky Festival to be held in Leiden on 11-13 November, 2005.  Further details of the festival are here.

A seminar will be held in the Library of Pieterskerk, Leiden, including a talk and tasting by David Wishart.  He will be re-launching the Dutch edition of his book Single Malt Whisky: Kiezen op Smaak (left) - details here.  It was first published in October 2003 and sold out in 3 months - the book has therefore been reprinted by the publisher, Spectrum Books of Utrecht for Gall&Gall, to be re-launched in Leiden.

At this event it will be possible to purchase copies of Single Malt Whisky: Kiezen op Smaak, signed by David Wishart.

His talk and tasting will last for about 45 minutes, with 7 malts which span the range of flavours, to taste: Ben Nevis 10yo, Bruichladdich 10yo, Glenfiddich Special Reserve 12yo, Glenfiddich Solera Reserve 15yo, Glengoyne 10yo, Glenmorangie 10yo, and Laphroaig 10yo.  Many thanks indeed to the producers who kindly supplied the tasting malts.
