Whisky Classified at Whisky Live, Leiden, November 2009

We are delighted to have been invited to present Whisky Geclassificeerd: Kiezen op Smaak at the Dutch International Whisky Festival to be held in Leiden on 13-15 November, 2009.  Further details of the festival are here.

Masterclasses by David Wishart will be held in the intimate setting of the Kerkmeesterkamer in the Pieterskerk, Leiden (pictured right). David will give an illustrated talk on the heritage of Scotch whisky, with his own selection of 7 fine single malt whiskies to taste. 

David will also be presenting the Dutch edition of his book Whisky Geclassificeerd: Single Malts Kiezen op Smaak (left) - details here.  It was first published in October 2003 and sold out in 3 months - the book was revised in 2007 and has been reprinted by the publisher Het Spectrum Books in 2008.

At this event it will be possible to purchase copies of Whisky Geclassificeerd: Single Malts Kiezen op Smaak, signed by David Wishart.

David's talk and tasting will last for about 45 minutes, with 7 fine single malts to taste which span the flavour spectrum.
